Basic information with regard to various scholarship schemes

Post Matric Scholarship Scheme for SC/ OBC Students

1.This scheme is meant for the students studying in the various courses approved by AICTE of Govt of India and belonging to Scheduled Castes & Backward Classes , subject to the prescribed terms and conditions, sponsored by Govt. of India.
2. The applicant must be belonged to SC/BC of Haryana state.
3. The applicant must be resident of Haryana.
4. Under this scheme five components i.e Tuition Fees , Development Fund, Student Fund , Examination Fees and Maintenance Allowance are transferred to the respective Aadhar linked bank accounts of the Applicants in case of SCs and only Maintenance Allowance in case BCs, as Scholarship.
5. The Annual income of the parents / Guardians of the applicant should not be exceeded Rs. 2.5 lacs in case of SC /ST and OBC.as per income certificate and Family ID(verified)
6. The amount of scholarship is directly transferred to the respective Aadhar linked bank accounts of the Applicants .
7. All the eligible applicants can submit their application through online registration at www.harchhatravratti.highereduhry.ac.in Haryana website. After submitting the data online all the applicants must submit their application form along with valid documents to the concerned institute where applicant is studying. After verification of documents as per guidelines of government the scholarship will be transferred in the aadhar linked bank account of applicants.

Merit Scholarship (For All Category)

I) Must obtain at least 60 % marks in first attempt of semester Examination.
II) Top 15% students of each branch appeared in semester Examination.
III) Benefit : An amount of Rs. 3000 per Semester will be given in the aadhar linked bank account of applicants.

Scholarships Schemes on NSP Portal

I) AICTE PRAGATI Scholarship Scheme for girl students

1. Up to Two Girls per family.
2. Family income should be less than Rs. 8 Lakhs per Annum.
3. Students Admitted in Diploma Level Programme/ Course in AICTE Approved Institutions.
4. The students admitted in first year of their Diploma Course OR Second year of Diploma course through lateral entry (LE) in any of the AICTE approved Institution of respective year.
5. Rs 50,000 per annum for every year of study i.e. maximum 3 years for Diploma for first year admitted students and maximum 2 years for Diploma students admitted through lateral entry

II) AICTE SAKSHAM Scholarship Scheme for specially-abled students

1. Differently-abled Students having equal or more than 40% disability.
2. Family income should be less than Rs. 8 Lakh per annum.
3. The students admitted in first year of their DiplomaCourse OR Second year of Diploma Course through lateral entry (LE) in any of the AICTE approved Institution of respective year.
4. Rs 50,000 per annum for every year of study i.e. maximum 3 years for Diploma for first year admitted students and maximum 2 years for Diploma students admitted through lateral entry.

III) AICTE SWANATH Scholarship Scheme

1. The candidate should be from any one of the following categories: (i) Orphan OR (ii) Either or both parents died due to Covid 19 OR (iii) Wards of Armed Forces and Central Paramilitary Forces martyred in action (Shaheed)
2) Family income from all sources should not be more than Rs. 8 lakh per annum during the financial year of the application. A valid income certificate issued by State/UT Government is to be enclosed.
3) The candidate should be currently studying in the AICTE Approved institutions and courses at Degree/ Diploma level in regular mode (in 1st /2nd / 3rd /4th year)
4) Rs. 50,000.00 per annum for every year of study i.e. maximum 3 years for Diploma Students

The candidate fulfilling the eligibility conditions is required to apply online on National Scholarship Portal (NSP) after initiation of application process and notice to be published on AICTE website.

AICTE Yashasvi Scholarship Scheme

ELIGIBILITY FOR SCHOLARSHIP: The candidate should be admitted to First year of Degree/ Diploma level course in any of the AICTE approved institutions of respective year
AMOUNT OF SCHOLARSHIP: Diploma Level Students i. Rs. 30,000/- per annum for every year of study i.e. maximum 3 years for first year admitted students.
MODE OF PAYMENT: After selection, the awardee will be paid scholarship through DBT mode on annual basis
The candidate fulfilling the eligibility conditions is required to apply online on National Scholarship Portal (NSP) after initiation of application process and notice to be published on AICTE website.

Note: The candidate can be recipient of any one of the Central Govt./ State Govt. / AICTE Sponsored scholarships in one academic session.
